Green Line Service Returned To Normal: MBTA
But still, watch out for major delays on the T.

BOSTON, MA — This morning around 9 a.m. the Green Line shut down after damage to one of the wires that supplies electricity to keep the trains going failed. All four Green Line train trollies stopped at Kenmore Square where a sea of people took to the sidewalk. One person tweeted images of having to walk through the MBTA tunnel to get out of a train that was stuck.
In the beginning, the shuttle buses that were supposed to take the good folks left standing in the morning sunshine to work, weren't exactly showing up in quick fashion, according to multiple tweets.
Might be a good day for a long walk, we said.
