Boston Bruins 2016-17 Schedule Released

Boston, MA — Hockey season is still a few months away but we now know who the Boston Bruins will play and when.

Tuesday, the National Hockey League announced the full regular season schedule. The Bruins will start the season on Oct. 13 on the road against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Two more away games against the Toronto Maple Leafs and Winnipeg Jets round out a three-game road top to start the season.

The Bruins will play at home for the first time this season on Oct. 20 when they host the New Jersey Devils.

Here are some notable dates:

• First home game against Montreal: Oct. 22
• First away game against Montreal: Nov. 8
• At Ottawa: Nov. 24 (Thanksgiving)
• Vs. Calgary: Nov. 25 (Black Friday)
• At Pittsburgh: Dec. 14
• Vs. Buffalo: Dec. 31 (New Year's Eve)
• Vs. Chicago: Jan. 20
• Vs. San Jose: Feb. 9
• Vs. Washington: April 8 (Last Regular Season Game)
