How Many Democrats, Republicans in Boston?
Here's a breakdown of the 382,946 registered voters in Boston.

BOSTON, MA - The polls will open to hundreds of thousands of registered voters in Boston Tuesday - 382,946 registered voters, to be exact.
According to the City of Boston, the 382,946 includes 205,500 in the Democratic Party, 24,909 in the Republican Party, 1,225 in the United Independent Party, 533 in the Green-Rainbow Party, and 149,783 who are not enrolled in a political party.
When voting Tuesday, voters who are enrolled in one of the above parties can only vote on the ballot for that party.

Voters who are unenrolled in a party (commonly known as “Independent”) will be listed on the voter list with the party code “U.” Unenrolled voters and voters who are members of Political Designations can choose which party’s ballot they would like to receive.
You will not become registered in a party because of your participation in a primary.
