Stand-up comedian and award-winning actor Jeremy Piven is bringing his global comedy tour to Boston. Best known for his iconic role as the fast-talking, no-holds-barred Ari Gold on HBO’s Entourage, Piven has been a touring comedian for years and will be performing at the Wilbur Theatre on Friday, September 19 at 7:30 p.m.
As you might expect, Piven’s set is sharp and unfiltered—mixing storytelling, razor-sharp observations, and just enough Ari Gold energy to keep audiences leaning in. He’s equally candid about the real stories behind the fame, the fame behind the stories, and everything in between.

In 2025, the two-time Golden Globe and three-time Emmy Award-winning actor and comedian has been bringing that high-energy comedy to stages across the country and internationally. Fresh off summer performances in San Jose and Seattle and a run through Australia and New Zealand, Piven continues to build momentum with a packed slate of shows ahead.
After his Boston show, he’ll headline major venues including New York’s Sony Hall on October 19, and multiple nights at the Irvine Improv in Irvine, California (November 7-8). He’ll then head to Florida for back-to-back shows at the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach (December 5–6), before kicking off 2026 in Texas with a three-night run at Addison Improv outside of Dallas (January 30-February 1).

In addition to the tour, Piven is currently starring in the “Jurassic Park”-meets-Vietnam War mash-up, Primitive War. Hailing from director Luke Sparke and based on writer Ethan Pettus' novel series of the same name, the action horror takes place in Vietnam circa 1968 and centers around a recon unit that’s sent to an isolated jungle valley to uncover the fate of a missing Green Beret platoon. They quickly discover they are not alone, though, and must face the most terrifying creatures to ever walk the Earth.
