BOSTON, MA — A statewide commission that seeks to improve the lives of women and girls is looking for two new members.

The 24-year-old Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women includes members from cities and towns across the state who recommend state-level policy changes to improve conditions for women and girls. Recently, the commission has been focused on how COVID-19 has impacted women and girls across the state.

The 59-member, bipartisan Caucus of Women Legislators, which includes lawmakers from the House and Senate, appoints six of the 19 commission members, who each serve three-year terms.
