MA Hotel Named Best City Hotel In U.S., Among World's Top 100

BOSTON, MA — A Bay State hotel has been named the best city hotel in the nation, according to a new ranking from Travel + Leisure.

XV Beacon at 15 Beacon St. in the city's Beacon Hill neighborhood was named the No. 1 Hotel in Boston, the No. 1 City Hotel in the Continental U.S. and the No. 55 Hotel in the world.

The magazine said the 61-room hotel "channels the city’s historic spirit with a lavish art collection and a prime location just a block from Boston Common."

More than 207,000 readers voted in the 2026 survey, casting more than 661,000 votes across hotels, cities, cruise lines and other travel categories, according to the magazine. XV Beacon scored 98.47.

The hotel is located in a turn-of-the-century Beaux Arts building in Beacon Hill and is one block from Boston Common, according to Travel + Leisure.
