The "Portraits of Pride" exhibit on the Boston Common starts Saturday.

BOSTON, MA — A new exhibit coming to the Boston Common in October will spotlight the contributions of LGBTQ+ leaders through photo portraits. The exhibition kicks off LGBT History Month, where each day in October is used to recognize the accomplishments of LGBTQ+ icons.

The installation will feature 8-foot portraits of prominent Massachusetts LGBTQ+ leaders in public service, entrepreneurship, business, law, and more, in honor of the rich history of Boston’s LGBTQ+ community and the contributions its leaders have made to the advancement of LGBTQ+ rights in Massachusetts and beyond.
