MA Pub Named Among Best Soccer Bars In U.S.

BOSTON, MA Boston’s soccer scene just scored a major win.

The Dubliner has officially been named one of Men in Blazers’s “Top 10 Best Soccer Bars in America” for 2026. The pub at 2 Center Plaza in the heart of Downtown Boston was the only Massachusetts spot to make the cut.

The news comes just 50 days before the FIFA World Cup, with soccer games scheduled from Jun. 11 to Jul. 19, 2026, including matches at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough just outside Boston.

Men in Blazers, an influential worldwide soccer media brand, highlighted The Dubliner for its atmosphere, fan experience and strong soccer culture.

Other "soccer bars" on the list were Ireland's Four Courts in Arlington, Virginia; Carragher'sin New York City; and The Black Sheep Pub in Philadelphia, among others.

The Dubliner, led by owner Oran McGonagle and Michelin-trained chef Aidan McGee, is known for its elevated Irish menu, packed match-day energy, and multiple viewing spaces, including two dining rooms and several patios.

This summer, it’s also expanding with more than 50 new outdoor seats, a dedicated bar, and a large outdoor TV.

Located directly across from the FIFA Fan Festival at City Hall Plaza, The Dubliner is set to be in the center of World Cup action. From Premier League watch parties to U.S. Men’s National Team matches, it’s quickly become Boston’s main hub for soccer fans.
