MA Weather Forecast: Up To Foot Of Snow In Monday Nor'easter
The third storm in as many weeks is happening. Here are the first snow predictions.

The projected track of an offshore storm has shifted, bringing what would be the third storm in as many weeks closer to Southern New England. Forecasters are now warning of as much as a foot of snow Monday night into Tuesday for what has become a storm-weary region.
The National Weather Service made it clear predictions this far out are subject to change and serve as more of a "heads-up." Still, the weather service said the storm is expected to "deepen as it brushes by Southern New England," which could bring totals of between 4-12 inches across Central and Eastern Massachusetts Monday night into Tuesday.
"Our confidence with this storm system and our forecast remains low as there's still a range of possibilities with respect to the storm track and potential outcomes," the NWS said.

Even with the uncertainty, the NWS said it's confident that snow will accumulate across Southern New England. The expected snowfall total in Massachusetts forecasts, released late Saturday afternoon, is closer to 3-4 inches. It's unlikely, but possible, that the Bay State avoids snow altogether. It's also possible, and a bit more likely considering how this winter has gone, that the high-end amounts of 10-12 inches are realized. Stay tuned to your local Patch for the latest.
