The 43-year-old Quincy man swore at the woman before assaulting her dog on Wednesday afternoon, MBTA police said.

BOSTON, MA — MBTA Transit police arrested and charged a Quincy man this week after he kicked a woman's service dog at the Red Line stop at South Station, according to police.

The incident happened just before 5 p.m. on Wednesday. The victim approached police and told them that a man had kicked her service dog in the head. Before the assault, William Bagen, 43, shouted "Get that f--king dog out of my way," according to transit police.
