Man Killed In Boston's 7th Murder Of 2018

The victim was shot to death in Dorchester, police said.

DORCHESTER, MA — A man was fatally shot Tuesday night in Dorchester. Boston Police said they responded to a report of gunshots near Norton St. and Bowdoin St. just before 8 p.m., finding a man with life-threatening injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

It what was Boston's seventh murder of the year, and the fourth in Dorchester.

No one has been arrested in the shooting.

The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is asked to call Homicide Detectives at (617) 343-4470.
