
BOSTON, MA – The MBTA announced Tuesday its service schedules for the Christmas and New Year's holidays.
Subway, buses, Commuter Rail, commuter boat/ferry and the RIDE will provide regular weekday service on Friday, Dec. 23 and regular weekend service on Saturday, Dec. 24 and Sunday, Dec. 25.
On the observed Christmas holiday of Monday, Dec. 26, the MBTA will operate on a Sunday schedule.

All subway lines will operate on a modified weekday schedule on Saturday, Dec. 31, with additional trains operating at rush hour levels of service from 3 p.m. until about 1 a.m. Buses, commuter boat/ferry and the RIDE will operate on a regular Saturday schedule.
The Commuter Rail will operate on a modified Saturday schedule with extra outbound service from North and South Stations listed below. Bicycles are prohibited on all inbound Commuter Rail trains between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. and all outbound trains from 4 p.m. through the end of service on New Year's Eve.
