BOSTON — A man was arraigned Wednesday and another is expected in court Thursday for allegedly starting a fatal fire in Roxbury last year, Suffolk County District Attorney Daniel Conley said.
Marcus Dozier, 46, arrested Monday and arraigned today, and Kenneth Ford, arrested Wednesday morning, are being charged with second-degree murder and arson in connection with a Nov. 5 fire in an abandoned building on 94 George St. that was used as a drug den for homeless people. Ford and Dozier were among those people.
Michelle Trentor, 29, was trapped inside the building and died as a result. A 37-year-old homeless man suffered burns and life-threatening injuries, though he survived.

Ford and Dozier allegedly set fire to items on the first floor on Nov. 4, though the fire did not spread. Prosecutors said the men allegedly told people they needed to "get rid of" something in the building and that people should leave the property in the morning. Ford and Dozier allegedly told people to "not ask questions."
Boston Water and Sewer contractors working in the area of the building observed the male victim man on fire stagger from the house on Nov. 5. The Boston Fire Department arrived and found heavy fire from all of the building’s three floors.
