1 Dead In Mission Hill Triple-Shooting

Police are looking for suspects after the Wednesday night gunfire.

BOSTON, MA — Three men were shot - one fatally - near the border of Mission Hill and Roxbury Wednesday night. The deceased is believed to be in his late teens, police said. The other two victims were in serious or critical condition, according to Police Commissioner William B. Evans.

Police responded to the area of Parker and Tremont Streets near the Roxbury Crossing MBTA station around 7:47 p.m. Officers found the three men suffering from gunshot wounds and transported them to the hospital. One succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

The Boston Police Department is investigating and asking the public to call Homicide Detectives at 617-343-4470.

"As is the case with any death investigation, cooperation from anybody who may have been in the area at the time of the incident and may have seen something or knows something can make all the difference when it comes to solving these crimes," Evans said. "My officers tell me there were a lot of witnesses in the area at the time of the shooting and we would certainly be grateful for any information they might possess and, hopefully, be willing to share."
