Orange Line Strikes, Kills Female

A female was hit at Ruggles Station, Transit Police confirmed.

BOSTON, MA — A female was struck and killed by an orange Line train at Ruggles Station Thursday afternoon, Transit Police confirmed. The female, whose age has not been determined, was trespassing on the southbound side. Foul play is not suspected.

Shuttle buses had replaced service between Jackson Square and Back Bay. The MBTA said before 3:30 p.m there are now moderate delays.
