Man Found Dead at Alewife

BOSTON, MA - Authorities recovered the body of an adult male at Alewife Station late Wednesday morning, according to a statement from the Middlesex District Attorney's office.

Early unconfirmed reports said the person may have come in contact with the third rail.

Service was shut down between Davis Square and Alewife after the body was discovered. The MBTA said at 1 p.m. that service has resumed.
