Rescuers Respond After Car Is Driven Into Boston Seaport

BOSTON, MA — An ambulance was seen pulling up the dock near Drydock Avenue Monday morning after multiple outlets reported a driver went off the dock Sunday night, according to WHDH.

Rescue crews spent the night searching the water near the Seaport after Boston police received a call Sunday night that a car was driven off the dock, according to Boston.com.

A witness reported seeing a car hit "multiple things" in the shipyard around 10:26 p.m. before the car cascaded into the water, police told the outlet.

Firefighters, police, and the Coast Guard began the search for survivors overnight and were still at work in the morning, according to WHDH.
