‘Storm Area 51’ Party at Bukowski Tavern Cambridge on Sept 20th

Bukowski Tavern Cambridge hosts the ‘Storm Area 51’ Party on Friday, September 20th to celebrate the 2 million alien enthusiasts who plan to show up to Area 51 in Nevada to find out if aliens really do exist! In honor of the raid, Bukowski’s will be offering an array of extraterrestrial food and beverage specials along with an alien-themed playlist and movies running during the party.

The menu will consist of ‘Unidentified Frying Objects,’ an array of jalapeno poppers, french fries, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, stadium chips and buffalo brussels sprouts, and tater tots, piled high on a “frying” saucer. Bukowski’s will also feature the ‘Big Bang Burger.’

Drinks and cocktails will include an Area 1-51 Rum Punch featuring Bacardi 151 (and other ingredients), created by Buks’ Bar Manager Lily Dromgoole along with Harpoon UFO beers and 35+ other spaceCRAFT beers on tap.

Along with their out-of-this-world menu, Bukowski Tavern Cambridge will feature an alien-themed playlist with songs such as ‘E.T’ by Katy Perry and ‘Aliens Exist’ by Blink-182 and show live coverage of Storm Area 51 news so patrons can see in real time how the raid is going, complemented by alien-themed movies like, you guessed it, movies in the ‘Alien’ franchise, ‘Close Encounters of the Third Kind,’ ‘Spaceballs,’ episodes of the X-Files and so on. Buks will also have a life-sized cardboard cutout alien for guests who love themselves a good selfie opp, and staff will be decked out in Storm Area 51 t-shirts as well!
