Storrow Drive To Close 2 Lanes Overnight
Plan ahead if you're headed near the Longfellow Bridge on Storrow Thursday night.
BOSTON, MA — If you have to go anywhere near the Longfellow Bridge tonight or early tomorrow, watch for double lane closures on Storrow Drive Eastbound until the morning, reducing the travel to one lane.
MassDOT will implement overnight lane closures on Storrow Drive eastbound in the vicinity of the Longfellow Bridge Thursday, April 5. The closures will be from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. Friday.
This stretch has three lanes in each direction usually.

Other Longfellow Construction Related Daytime Lane Closures
- Memorial Drive east and westbound, alternating single lane - on Thursday April 5, and Friday, April 6, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM each day
- Storrow Drive eastbound, alternating single lane – on Friday, April 6, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM*
- Storrow Drive westbound, alternating single lane – on Friday, April 6, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM*
*There will be no Storrow Drive daytime lane closures on April 5 for the Red Sox opening game.
