BOSTON, MA — A truck carrying new cars made it through the O'Neill Tunnel on I-93 southbound Wednesday morning, but at least one of the cars it was carrying didn't. This comes just days after a tractor-trailer was trashed in a similar crash.
MassDOT surveillance video shows the truck in a middle lane on the southbound side of Interstate 93 and then a car on top of the back of the carrier crashes into the Exit 24 sign to Logan Airport and Government Center.
The driver can then be seen slowing and pulling to the side of the tunnel as traffic slows.
