Victims In Dorchester Double Slaying Identified

The men, from Randolph and Brockton, were shot early Saturday morning, according to Boston police.

DORCHESTER, MA — Boston police Tuesday identified the two men killed in a triple-shooting early Saturday morning in Dorchester.

Tefan Ivy, 32, of Brockton, and Jermaine Daye, 23, of Randolph, were found shot near a home along Melbourne Street near 3 a.m. Sunday. The third person shot on Saturday was expected to survive, police said.

Boston police did not immediately announce any arrests related to the shootings.

Also over the weekend, Boston police identified Damonte Dancy, 29, of Roxbury, as the victim in an Aug. 31 shooting that happened near the intersection of Dale and Regent streets. A second man, Keondre Roberts, 25, died in a separate shooting on Aug. 31 along Van Winkle Street in Dorchester.

Those four recent killings bring the total number of homicides in Boston so far in 2022 to 25.
