Wahlburgers Food Truck To Open In South Bay Center

BOSTON, MA — If you're in love with The Wahlbergs realty TV show or their restaurant or even have some nostalgia for the New Kids on The Block, you might just be able to catch a glimpse of them next week when family members unveil their new food truck in Boston.

Head over to Dorchester's South Bay Center next week for the big unveil. Between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. the truck will be open for business there, too.

Apparently this unveiling coincides with National Get To Know Your Customer Day. That means they'll be serving special lunches for $5 (includes an Our Burger and Tots). And if you're among the first 100 to arrive, you could said special lunch free, according to a press release.

The Wahlburgers Boston Food Truck will be stationed at Dorchester South Bay Center Thursday – Saturday unless it’s been hired for an off-site special event.

There's also talk of opening a Wahlburgers in the South Bay Center later this year; family members along with CEO, Rick Vanzura, will also be on hand to talk about that.

Founded by Executive Chef Paul Wahlberg, Donnie Wahlberg and Mark Wahlberg, Wahlburgers debuted in October 2011 in Hingham.

The menu features a variety of burgers, house made condiments, crispy haddock, seared chicken and vegetarian options. Other signature items include Mom's Sloppy Joe, thin crispy onion rings, tater tots and thick creamy frappes and floats.
