Woman Coughs On Boston Officer, Says She Had Coronavirus: Police
Boston police said Rebecca Tsakonas threw a wine bottle at officers, told them she had the coronavirus and then coughed on them.

BOSTON — A Boston woman was arrested after police said she threw a wine bottle at officers, told them she had the coronavirus and coughed on the officers. Rebecca Tsakonas, 51, was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, threat of a dangerous substance and public drinking.
Around 6 p.m., Thursday, police said they saw Tsakonas and a man arguing on a sidewalk at Friend Street. Police said the woman yelled obscenities at the man while drinking from a wine bottle.
When officers told Tsakonas to empty the bottle, she threw it at their cruiser and struck an officer, according to police. Officers arrested Tsakonas, and while she was being booked, police said she told officers she tested positive for the coronavirus and began coughing on them.
