Police said they seized 27 grams of heroin and fentanyl in an undercover operation.

BRAINTREE, MA — Two Boston men were arrested after police ran an undercover operation and said they seized 27 grams of heroin and fentanyl from the two suspects.
Jomiel Romero, 27, and Santo Romero-Cuello, 24, were both charged with trafficking more than 10 grams of fentanyl. Romero also faces distributing fentanyl and conspiracy to violate drug law charges. Police told the Patriot Ledger the undercover investigation began last December, and included several purchases from the suspects. Friday morning was the last of sting operations, according to police. Police said they bought 27 grams of heroin and fentanyl from Romero and arrested him on Forbes Road. Romero-Cuello was taken into custody later that day.
The suspects were arraigned in Quincy District Court on Friday. Romera is being held on $50,000 bail, while Romero-Cuello was given a $25,000 bail.
