2 Workers Injured In Braintree Industrial Accident

The injuries are serious but not life-threatening, officials said. Both men are from New Hampshire.

BRAINTREE, MA — Two workers were injured in an accident in Braintree on Wednesday, police said.

Braintree police responded to an industrial accident at 575 Quincy Ave. on Wednesday morning along with Braintree fire and Brewster ambulance personnel, officials said.

"A wheeled machine with a boom (lull) was being operated when it fell onto its side impacting a crane basket of another machine which was occupied by two workers," police said.

Two New Hampshire men, 19 and 40-years-old, suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Boston hospitals for treatment.

The incident is being investigated by the Occupational Safety Health Administration.
