2017 Braintree Town Election Results: Whalen, Carey Join Council
Find out who topped the ballot in this year's election.

BRAINTREE, MA — The polls are closed and the ballots are being counted for the Braintree town election.
There were few contested battles this year. In the town council races, there are three candidates for District Two councilor and there are two write-in candidates in District Six. The race for Thayer Library Trustees has five candidates for four seats.
Here are the unofficial results. Turnout was 14.22 percent. The results of the all write-in District 6 councilor race have not been announced.
