BRAINTREE, MA — The Town Council is set to meet on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall.

In total, there are 13 items on the agenda for Tuesday's meeting. Here's what to know:

  • The council president will provide an update from the mayor's office regarding the Petersen Pool. Here's a Patch report from earlier this year about the pool project.
  • Two people will be re-appointed to the Braintree Contributory Retirement Board. They are Edward J. Spellman, Jr., and Joseph R. Driscoll, Jr.
  • Two people will also be appointed to the Braintree Local Cultural Council in Heidi Hurley and Jeanne Connolly. However, it will be referred to the Committee of Ways & Means.
  • The council president will make announcements on two items: a Pearl Harbor Remembrance and Braintree Christmas Party.
  • The council will refer to the Committee of Ways & Means a home rule petition regarding the retirement of Officer Ryan McHugh.
