5K To Braintree Day, Greek Festival: Mayor Kokoros Weekend Update
The Braintree Farmer's Market, Thayer Library book sale and more highlight a busy weekend in Braintree.

BRAINTREE, MA — On Saturday, June 24th the Braintree Farmer’s Market will be open at Town Hall from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
On Saturday June 24th the Friends of the Thayer Library are having their Book Sale in the Thayer Public Library parking lot.

As part of the Town’s Independence Day Celebration the 5K to Braintree Day is being held this Sunday, June 25th at Town Hall. The kids’ race will start at 9:15 am and the 5K run/walk will begin at 10:00 am. Same day registration is available on Sunday, June 25th from 8:00 am to 9:30 am.
The Braintree Greek Festival is an annual event of the Saint Catherine's Greek Orthodox Church at 119 Common Street. The festival begins tomorrow Thursday June 22nd from 11am to 9pm. You can also attend Friday and Saturday, from 11am to 10pm and the final day will be Sunday from 11am to 4pm. Come enjoy the finest in Greek culture, cuisine and music.

Our Nelson Chin Summer Concert Series begins Tuesday June 27th at 6pm at Sunset Lake. Come and enjoy the amazing Irish and folk music by Curragh’s Fancy featuring local celebrity Bob Folks.
