A Thank You From the Braintree 4th of July Celebration Committee
The committee is working to pay off this year's expenses and has started work on plans for Braintree's 40th Annual Independence Day Celebration in 2013.

The Braintree July 4th Celebration Committee is thanking the residents and
businesses of Braintree for their financial support that made this year’s celebration a success.
The committee is currently working on paying off this year’s expenses and has already begun planning for next year’s celebration, which will be the 40th Anniversary of the town’s annual Independence Day Celebration.
“The financial support we have received has been overwhelming, and the celebration would not have gone forward if it weren’t for the generosity of the residents and business community in Braintree. We currently have some existing expenses that we have to pay off and we encourage everyone, that enjoyed the parade and the celebration to donate whatever amount they can, so that we can continue making plans for next year’s celebration” committee chairman Sean Powers said.

The committee is urging residents and businesses to use the reply donation envelopes that were included in their June BELD bills to mail in their donations.
