btone’s new Braintree studio offers workouts that use customized reformers, and an approachable hybrid of Pilates-inspired movements & strength training

Grand opening July 17th weekend classes will benefit Super Saturdays

btone FITNESS announced today the official opening of its newest South Shore location in Braintree, Massachusetts. Grand opening festivities will begin on Friday, July 17th with an open house, a 10:30am ribbon cutting with Braintree Mayor Erin V. Joyce, and donation-based classes throughout the weekend to benefit Super Saturdays. The new 2,000 square-foot studio is the growing brand’s latest franchise to open and joins several other South Shore locations including those in Cohasset, Hanover, Kingston, and Marshfield. Additional greater Boston franchise studios are slated to open soon including those in Brighton, Haverhill, Chelmsford and Worcester.

The Braintree studio, located at 121 Pearl Street in Pearl Plaza across from Ivory Plaza, is owned and operated by South Shore resident and long-time btone devotee, instructor, and trainer Maura McGreevy who says, “btone is an upbeat, 45-minute, full-body workout that’s both highly effective and efficient. It’s a hybrid of Pilates-inspired movements and resistance training that you can customize to meet you wherever you are in your fitness journey, whether you’re just beginning or a btone regular. All levels and ages are welcome!”

McGreevy adds, “I’ve had my sights set on Braintree since the beginning days of taking and teaching btone classes. And our Pearl Plaza location is the perfect spot for a new btone FITNESS studio, given all of the popular retail establishments nearby. Our location is convenient and easily accessible to anyone living or working right off of Routes 123, 93 and 3.”

The Braintree studio will offer thirteen brand new customized btFORMERS [exclusively and locally manufactured for btone FITNESS] to ensure a highly personalized Pilates hybrid workout where clients will feel comfortable regardless of their fitness levels. Unlike other group exercise classes, btone specializes in 45-minute, total-body TONE workouts on these customized machines, allowing clients to tailor each and every move with spring resistance and body placement. Clients can easily and safely modify their workout based on their current fitness level and wellness goals.

Concludes McGreevy, “btone makes it easy to squeeze in a total-body workout during the day, before or after work, or whenever your busy schedule permits given convenient urban location. Our classes strengthen every major muscle group in your body on our state-of-the-art reformers, derived from our signature TONE class. From move to move, you have the ability to tailor and adjust your workout resistance, along with your body positioning, to make each exercise the most comfortable and effective it can be. This is where reformer fitness meets pilates remixed and it definitely packs a punch."

Grand opening benefit weekend classes will support Super Saturdays, a social recreational program serving students in Braintree ages 8 and older who receive services through the district's special education department. Benefit classes (100% of donations will go to Super Saturdays) are scheduled for:

Friday, July 17th at 5:30, 6:30, 7:30, 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM
Saturday, July 18th at 7:30, 8:30, 9:30 and 10:30 AM
Sunday, July 19th at 8, 9, 10 and 11 AM
