Baby Carriage Allegedly Used to Hide Stolen Clothing from Plaza

A 29-year-old Dorchester woman was arrested last Wednesday for allegedly taking more than $400 in clothing from a store at the , accompanied by two children.

Adelaida Jordan was allegedly concealing the merchandise under a baby carriage, according to a report from a store employee at to the police, Deputy Chief Russell Jenkins said in a statement.

Jordan was detained after leaving Charlotte Russe and brought to a back office, along with the two children. More merchanidise was found on Jordan from , Sephora, and , totalling more than over $600, Jenkins said.

She was charged with larceny over $250, receiving stolen property over $250 and three counts of receiving stolen property under $250, and also had an outstanding arrest warrant for theft related offenses. A relative was called to take charge of the two children, Jenkins said.
