Braintree Town Hall will be opened and trash pickup will resume.

BRAINTREE, MA — Thursday's blizzard came and when without any major incidents or reports in Braintree.
In a call to residents, Mayor Joseph Sullivan thanked residents for keeping their cars off the roads, nothing that plows have been out since mid-morning and will remain on the roads through the early Friday hours.
While the schools will be closed, town offices will be opened at 9:30 a.m. Trash pickup will resume with a one-day delay.

"I am grateful for your patience and cooperation as we continue to deal with this storm. I ask that you assist us by clearing the sidewalk in front of your home and checking on your neighbors," Sullivan said.
The National Weather Service does not have a snow total for Braintree, but nearby Quincy and Weymouth both received 11.8 inches and 13 inches of snow.
