Back To School: Braintree 2021-22 School Calendar

BRAINTREE, MA — Back-to-school planning has already begun, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in the Braintree Public School District.

The first day of school for Braintree students is Sept. 1 for grade 1-12, while kindergarten students and pre-kindergarteners start up on Sept. 8.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change as the coronavirus pandemic nears its year-and-a-half point. A mix of in-person, virtual and hybrid learning is still possible in Braintree, though classes are slated to be all in-person to start the year.

Half day: Oct. 20

Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 24-26. Nov. 24 is a half-day, while the other days are off.

Dec. 9: Half day

Winter Break: Dec. 24-31

February Vacation: Feb. 21-25

Half day: March 14

Half day: April 6

April Vacation: April 18-22

Half day: May 17

Last day of pre-school: June 10

Last day of school (half day): June 16

Last day of school with five inclement weather days (half day): June 24
