Bank Robbery Suspect At-Large In Braintree: Police
Braintree police have asked for the public's help identifying the robber.
BRAINTREE, MA — Police are looking for a suspect they said robbed a Rockland Trust bank in Braintree on Monday.
Police said the robbery happened just after 11 a.m., at the Rockland Trust branch at 405 Washington St. The robber presented a note to the bank teller, and left with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said. Police said no weapon was showed, and the suspect ran away after getting the money.
Braintree police officers were on the scene within seconds. Officers set up a search perimeter, with the help of a Quincy police K-9 unit and a Massachusetts State helicopter. The search continued for over an hour before, police called it off. Police said the robber was last seen on Hollis Avenue running away from the bank.

Braintree police have asked for the public's help identifying the robber. Police said the suspect is a white man, roughly 5-feet, 1o inches in height, and weighs about 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white ball cap, surgical mask, blue shirt and dark pants.
