BHSTG Presents: Noises Off

Tickets are on sale now for Braintree High School's performance of this Tony-winning farce.

This spring, the Braintree High School Theatre Guild will present Noises Off, the award winning farce by Michael Frayn.

Directed by Michael T. Lacey and Dane Grigas, Noises Off follows the ups and downs of the quirky cast of “Nothing On” as they prepare for their opening night. From an actress who can’t keep her contact lenses in her eyes, to a director who is the center of love triangle with two of his cast members, to missing sardines, this play within a play shows the audience that the drama and hysterics that take place backstage can be even more entertaining than the show they came to see. In this Tony award-winning comedy, nine students will portray the challenging roles of these dynamic characters, while the technical crew takes on the feat of constructing a two-story, rotating house.

Noises Off will be performed at Braintree High School in the Grabosky Auditorium on Thursday, March 3 (7:00pm), Friday, March 4 (8:00pm), Saturday, March 5 (2:00pm and 8:00pm). Tickets can be purchased online at http://www.seatyourself.biz/bhs and at the door. Ticket prices are as follows: $10 for evening performances, $8 for matinee performance and a special reduced rate for BHS students available in the cafeteria or at the door.
