Blizzard Shifts Braintree Sports Schedules This Week

Athletic Director Michael Denise reports the following changes to Braintree sports schedules because of the blizzard:

Monday

*Boys Ice Hockey will play Weymouth at 5:40 pm at Zapustas Arena in Randolph.

*Girls Varsity Basketball vs. Needham has been postponed.  No make-up date available as of yet.

*The East/South Middle School Jamboree has bee postponed.  No make-up date available as of yet.  Games will be played following February vacation.

Tuesday

*Boys Basketball hosts Weymouth, 6:30 pm.  Team is one win away from qualifyiing for MIAA tournament as is Head Coach Bob Crook for his 300th Victory as a Head Coach.

*Girls Varsity will play at Weymouth High School, 6:30 pm.

Wednesday

*Boys Ice Hockey hosts Walpole at 8 pm at Zapustas Arena in Randolph.

*Girls Ice Hockey will play Walpole at 8 pm at Iorio Arena.

*Girls Varsity Gymnastics compete in Bay State Conference Championship Meet, 6:30 pm at Newton North.

*Braintree High School will host 2013 Bay State Conference Cheer and Dance Championship, 7 pm.

Thursday   

*Boys Basketball hosts Walpole, 6:30 pm.

*Girls Varsity will play at Walpole High School, 6:30 pm.

Friday       

*Braintree High School will host 2012-'13 MIAA Boys Gymnastics State Championship, 6 pm.

Saturday

*Braintree High School will host 2012-'13 MIAA Division 1 South Sectional Wrestling Tournament, 9:30 am.

*Boys Varsity Ice Hockey hosts Catholic Memorial at 1:30 pm at Zapustas Arena in Randolph.

*BHS will compete in MIAA Division 1 State Indoor Track Championships.

Sunday  

*Girls Ice Hockey will host Ursaline Academy at 12 pm (noon) at Shea Rink in Quincy.

*Girls Basketball will play Brockton at 2 pm at Bridgewater State University.

*Boys Basketball will play Natick at 6 pm at Sharon High School.
