Box Truck Knocks Out Power On Several Braintree Streets: PD
Power was temporarily knocked out at Braintree High School and the surrounding area after a box truck hit a utility pole, police said.
BRAINTREE, MA — Power was temporarily knocked out Tuesday morning in parts of Braintree after a box truck hit a utility pole, according to police. Police said the truck struck a pole in the 700 block of Granite Street.
The power outage affected Braintree High School as well as homes on Granite Street, Town Street, Campanelli Drive and Lundquist Drive.
The town's public utility, The Braintree Electric Light Department, announced power was restored around 11:30 a.m. Anyone still experiencing issues is asked to call the department at 781-348-2353.
