Buying Homemade Or Local

Braintree's Farmers Market. YUMMY

I am by far, what they call "Crunchy." By that I mean organic to the core of cloth diapers to all organic foods. I wouldn't mind that life style don't get me wrong, however, I like my cheap beef and eggs. However I do LOVE to shop home made, everything from Hair Bows, Pillow Case dresses and our local Farmers Market.

I love fresh veggies, but lets face it not many people can afford to live organic all the time. My children and I love to go to the farmers market on Saturdays and get fresh berries and eat them while we walk, or a good tomato for dinner that night with a pinch of salt. I also like being able to support my local Farmers and Crafters.

There is no denying I embarrass my littlest one with GIANT bows, cute hats and little hair clips. All of them I either make my self or buy from either a SAHM (stay at home Mom,) from all around the country or local at a farmers market. I can find some really neat stuff on any given day at a local craft fair or farmers market.

I may not be able to live "crunchy" all the time but being able to do it some times is totally worth it. Not only for my family and I but also for the local people who, sometimes that is their only income.

Supporting my community and helping them out in anyway is something I take pride in and would like my children to develop from me.

So if you have yet to go to the farmers market you NEED to check it out! They have meats, veggies, flowers, cupcakes, bows and anything really. Take a walk around smell the air and flowers and enjoy a nice Saturday afternoon.
