How I Came to Braintree...

My husband lived and grew up in Southie. Born and raised in the Irish heart of Boston. Tragically his home burned down and they were left with nothing. They have always said if they needed to leave Southie it would be to Braintree. They really loved this town. We met 4 years later while I lived in Weymouth. I grew up in Weymouth knew no other way then the Weymouth Life. The day came when my Husband asked me to move in with him. I very happily accepted. However for 2 weeks I cried and cried and cried that I no longer lived in Weymouth. Five years later two children a husband a home and a dog I am the happiest Braintree resident I think I know :) I have always lived a hop, skip and a jump away but never really appreciated what a wonderful town this was. Rich History, beautiful Parks, amazing schools, a wonderful farmers market and the list can go on and on. I am so glad we decided to raise our family in this town. Our oldest loves school and the friends he has acquired, and our little one loves the walks and wildlife in Pond Meadow. My husband loves the Plaza and their restaurants. As for me, I love the farms market the walks in the park and my quiet perfect home here in the town of Braintree.
