Braintree Baseball Coach Named Coach of the Year

Braintree, MA — A week after winning the state title, the coach of the Braintree baseball team has been named one of the best in the state.

Sunday, Coach Bill O’Connell was named the Boston Globe's Division 1A Coach of the Year.

The award comes after the team won their second Super 8 title in a row and appeared in the finals for the third year in a row.
