Braintree Baseball Cruise into Super 8 Semis

The Wamps will play St. John's Prep after beating Bridgewater-Raynham 13-3.

Braintree baseball is now one game away from the Super 8 final, beating Bridgewater-Raynham 13-3 Monday night.

Erik MacDonald’s inside-the-park home run kicked off a 17-hit barrage for the Wamps that included three home runs, according to the Boston Herald. Pitcher Bobby McNiff went eight innings with nine strikeouts, earning the win.

The Wamps will play top seed St. John’s Prep on June 10 at 4 p.m. at Campanelli Stadium in Brockton.
