Braintree Baseball Wins State Title

Another state championship is coming to Braintree High School.

Despite a massive defeat the previous evening to St. John’s Prep, the Wamps bounced back to beat Prep 7-2 to win the Super 8 tournament for the MIAA Division 1A Championship according to ESPN Boston.

Up 3-2 after six innings, a four-run seventh inning that included a two-run from Kevin Troy locked up the title for Braintree.

The Wamps finish the season with a record of 22-3.
