Braintree Boys Hockey Falls in 2OT Loss in D1 South Final
The Wamps fell to Framingham in a double-overtime thriller.

BRAINTREE, MA — The Braintree boys hockey team were less than 90 seconds from a shootout when Framingham ended their season with one shot.
The Wamps suffered a heartbreaking 2-1 double-overtime loss in Sunday's MIAA Divison 1 South championship. Framingham moves on to Sunday's final at the TD Garden.
After a scoreless first period, Framingham jumped on the board in the second period.

Tied after regulation, the team went into sudden death overtime. With time ticking away in the second extra frame, Framingham punched their ticket to the Garden.
