Braintree Boys' Soccer Advance to MIAA D1 South Quarterfinals
The Wamps defeated Quincy High School 5-1 in the second round of the tournament.
The Braintree boys’ soccer team had no problem in their first tournament game, earning a 5-1 win over No. 14 Quincy High School.
With the win, the third-ranked Wamps will face No. 11 Weymouth in the quarterfinal round on Nov. 7. Match time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
In the regular season, Braintree beat Weymouth 4-1 and played to a scoreless draw later in the season.
