Braintree Candidates Night Scheduled
The North Braintree Civic Association will host the panel ahead of the Nov. 7 elections. Here's what to know.

BRAINTREE, MA — Local elections are fast approaching, and the North Braintree Civic Association has scheduled a candidates night for residents to get to know the people behind the names they'll see on the ballot.
The association's candidates night is scheduled for Oct. 12 at 7 p.m. inside Braintree Town Hall. It will feature candidates for mayor, town council and school committee.
Candidates for mayor are incumbent Charles Kokoros and former Planning Board Chair Erin Joyce.

Four candidates in Joseph Fogerty, Rachel Horak, Christopher Peters and Justin Rollo are seeking three seats on the school committee. This comes amid a time of turnover for the committee, as three current members aren't seeking reelection in 2023.
District 6 is the only contested town council race as current councilor Lawrence Mackin isn't seeking reelection.
