Braintree Coronavirus: Food, PPE Drive Scheduled
Town officials will also collect cards and signs with positive messages for Braintree's first responders and health care workers.

BRAINTREE, MA — The Braintree Community Task Force will host another drive for food and personal protective equipment needed during the new coronavirus pandemic. The drive was scheduled for 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday at the town hall.
Donations can be made through a drive up and drop off system. All food donations will benefit the Marge Crispin Center to help Braintree residents in need. Protective gear donations will go to first responders in town.
Please check the expiration date on food items you plan on donating. If you are making a monetary or gift card donation you may use the tax collectors drop box for those donations. All checks should be made out to The Marge Crispin Center with a Memo note of “Task Force” on the check.

Town officials said the task force will also collect cards, signs and posters with messages thanking Braintree first responders and health care workers.
The Marge Crispin Center food pantry remains open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday. Food delivery is available for residents over 70 or that have an underlying health condition.
