Braintree Coronavirus: Schools Provide Meals During Shutdown
Braintree Public Schools is providing free breakfast and lunches to students enrolled in the district.
BRAINTREE, MA — Braintree Public Schools said it will expand its school meal program to offer breakfast and lunch to any child enrolled in the district, regardless of their lunch benefit status, during the three-week, state-ordered closure of all Massachusetts schools.
Meal pickups will be available "grab and go style" between 10 a.m. and noon on weekdays at the following locations:
- Hollis Elementary School
- Ross Elementary School
Signage outside each school will let students and parents know where to go to pick up meals. This will be a drive-up service, and parents and students are to remain in their vehicles. There will be additional signage indicating where to go if you are walking to the school to pick up meals.

Parents must keep their children within their control at all times, and leave school property immediately after picking up meals in order to remain in compliance with social distancing practices.
If you are unable to get to one of the two locations, or if you and or your children are displaying any COVID-19 symptoms, please call 617-653-7166 to make alternative arrangements.
