Braintree Coronavirus: Second Food, Suppy Drive Scheduled
The first coronavirus food and supply drive in Braintree filled three vans with donations. A second one was scheduled.

BRAINTREE, MA — Mayor Charles Kokoros said the first supply drive for food and medical supplies needed during the new new coronavirus pandemic was a success.
On Thursday, residents donation to the Braintree Community Task Force's drive and filled three vans with food and supplies for the Marge Crispin Center and the town's first responders. A second drive was scheduled for 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday at Braintree Town Hall.
Donations can be made through a drive up and drop off system. Task force officials said they will ensure there is no direct contact between individuals bringing items for donation and those accepting items. Proper signage will be posted to direct vehicles through the drop off location.

The task force said it's also using the tax collectors drop box for monetary and gift card donations. All checks should be made out to The Marge Crispin Center with a memo note of "Task Force"on the check. Please make sure all food and supplies are new with current dates.
