Why are you seeking elective office?

I feel that I have a unique perspective, I have worked in the Braintree School System, as well as my three daughters going through the schools, two are in General Education while one has been in the Special Ed system.

The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

I believe the single most pressing issue facing our board is the lack of confidence and/or the feeling that the board is working for the town and the students. Informing people of the conditions of the schools and what steps are being taken to ensure Braintree not only keeps the great reputation of being a top school but exceeding that reputation.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

Again, I feel that I have a unique perspective, I have the ability to look at an issue not only from that of a parent but someone who worked within the system and the buildings.

If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)

How do you think local officials performed in responding to the coronavirus? What if anything would you have done differently?

The protocols, as of now, are dictated by the state, the school committee has very little control of any Coronavirus regulations

Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform.

The buildings are another major issue, each building has their own unique issues. A detailed list of what needs to be corrected and the urgency of each problem. Braintree has many self-owned businesses (small businesses) that could be contacted to complete the work, this will not only correct the buildings but help keep the small business owners as well.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

I think one of my biggest accomplishments, aside from my Husband and Children, is going to college while working a full-time job. It taught me organizational skills, as well as how important clear communication is.

The best advice ever shared with me was:

Think before you speak, know what you want to say and express it in a clear and concise manner.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I am passionate about the education the children of Braintree deserve. I will work to ensure they obtain the education they deserve.
