BRAINTREE, MA — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

This submission comes from Greg Cataldo, who nominated his son Dominic, an EMT and nursing assistant, who has helped combat the new coronavirus pandemic with "dedication, courage, compassion and selflessness."

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
Certified EMT working the Emergency room as Nursing assistant at South Shore Hospital during this Covid -19 crisis. Gets up everyday, goes to that high risk job with dedication, courage, compassion and selflessness, assisting Doctors, Nurses and fellow Health care workers caring for those who are sick and in need!
